Argentina is also famous for its quality wine, delicious food, and world-renowned landmarks. Enjoy a varied journey through Argentina, starting in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, continue to Ushuaia in Fireland, a busy port and adventure hub at the end of the world. At least El Calafate will impress you with its magnificent Perito Moreno glacier at Los Glaciares National Park. Exploring the Andes Mountain and the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares is a highlight to any adventure in Argentina. The Iguazu Falls, named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1984, is one of the most impressive sights in the world, with a breathtaking 275 cascades that showcase the true power of mother nature.
Arrival in Buenos Aires and free time for leisure.
Enjoy a sightseeing tour in Buenos Aires visiting La Boca and Recolta and stop for a cup of coffee & snack at a traditional coffee house. In the evening visit a tango show with dinner at Viejo Almacén Tango house (on shared basis).
Day at leisure. On optional basis you may discover the Tigre and Delta of the Parana River; the historic village San Antonio de Areco; the San Telmo Antique Fair or may do a Biking tour through the northern area Palermo and Recoleta (on shared basis).
Flight to Ushuaia. A short orientating city tour with photo stops will give you a first impression of the world’s southernmost city on Tierra del Fuego. Remaining day at leisure to stroll around and visit on your own the End of the World Museum, the old prison and explore some restaurants to try the excellent spider crabs.
In the morning you will visit the breath-taking Tierra del Fuego National Park. In the afternoon continue to Estancia Haberton to visit the farm operations of this 1886 founded estancia. Then you will take a short sailing trip to Isla Martillo to watch a colony of Magellan and Gentoo penguins and walk close to them (best penguin season from mid-November till mid-April). Return to Estancia Haberton and drive back to Ushuaia (on shared basis).
Flight to El Calafate. The city is situated at the southern border of Lake Argentino and an important hub to visit different parts of Los Glaciares National Park.
Full day excursion to visit the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier (on shared basis), the world’s third largest reserve of fresh water.
Flight to Buenos Aires. Remaining day at leisure.
End of the roundtrip and homebound flight.
