Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha, is called the Temple City of India because it is home to over 500 temples! The city has a rich cultural heritage and is believed to have temples that date back to the 6th and 11th centuries. Puri is famous for the world famous Shri Jagannath Temple & Longest Golden Beach. It is one of the Dhamas (Holiest of the holy place) out of four Dhamas i.e. Puri, Dwarika, Badrinath & Rameswar, in India.
Airport and transfer to Bhubaneswar. After freshening up proceed to visit Udaigiri and Khandagiri Jain caves, and later enjoy exploring the city and market. Overnight stay will be at Bhubaneswar. Overnight stay will be at Bhubaneswar.
After breakfast visit Lingraj Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva which is one of the oldest temple where Non-Hindus are not allowed inside the temple premises. Later proceed Nandan Kanan which contains a botanical garden and part of it has been declared as sanctuary famous for white tiger (Closed on Monday). Evening you can enjoy shopping at Ekamra Haat buying local handicrafts and other goodies. Overnight stay will be at Bhubaneswar.
After breakfast transfer to Puri en-route visit Chandra Bhaga Sea Beach, Konark Sun Temple, Pipili (the applique village) and Dhauli. In the evening visit the Lord Jagannath Temple built in 15th Century AD and crowned with Vishnu’s wheel & flag dominate the landscape at Puri. Overnight stay will be at Puri.
After breakfast start for day excursion to Chilika Lake (Place called Satpada). It’s famous for Irrawaddy Dolphins. One can enjoy boating at Satpada (at own cost) and visit the lagoon where the lake meets into Bay of Bengal. Evening back to Puri. Overnight stay will be at Puri.
After breakfast check-out from hotel and proceed to Bhubaneswar enroute visiting Sakhigopal Temple, Pipli (the applique village), Dhauli, Lingaraj Temple and Nandankanan. On arrival check in to hotel. Overnight stay will be at Bhubaneswar.
After breakfast Check-out from hotel and take the departure transfers to Bhubaneswar Airport for your onward journey.
