This tour provides you with this diversity. Come and experience the mysterious Oman. Muscat, Oman’s port capital, sits on the Gulf of Oman surrounded by mountains and desert. With history dating back to antiquity, it mixes high-rises and upscale shopping malls with clifftop landmarks such as the 16th-century Portuguese forts, Al Jalali and Mirani, looming over Muscat Harbor. Its modern, marble-clad Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, with 50m dome and prodigious Persian carpet, can accommodate 20,000 people. On arrival at the Marina Bandar Al Rowdha, board on the speed boat and depart for dolphin cruise, head out to sea towards the favourite feeding grounds of the dolphins - between Fahal Island (opposite to the Petroleum refinery) and Bandar Khairan - a beautiful area of islands and pristine beaches. Oman’s waters are blessed with an abundance of sea life including an estimated 20 of the 80 known species of whales and dolphins. We provide the opportunity of enjoying the sight of the fabulous dolphins off the coast of Oman. Watching wild dolphins is a thrilling way to start the day and if you are lucky you may even come across one of the many species of whales that can be found just a few kilometres from Muscat‟s rugged coast (Please note that chances to see dolphin is 75%.
