On arrival at Chandigarh airport/railway station, you will be welcomed by our representative & proceeds for Manali by road another beautiful hill station in the state. Located in the Beas River Valley, at an elevation of more than 2000 meters above sea level. The name 'Manali' has been derived from the words 'Manu' and 'Alaya', which mean 'Abode of Manu'. Besides this, some other prominent attractions of this hill town are Hadimba Temple, Manali Sanctuary, Arjun Gufa and Jagatsukh. Upon reaching, check-in at the Hotel and take some rest. Dinner at the Hotel. Overnight at Manali.
An early departure from Manali, we drive to Solang, Dhundi to Atal Tunnel Rohtang to Lahaul & Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, along the Chandra River to Gramphu. A series of rugged paths lead towards Chatru, Chota Dara, and Batal. We drive along the left banks of Chandra River and about 14km to Chatru, then on the right bank of Chandra River to Batal. Now the road climbs to Kunzom la pass and enters Spiti Valley. We arrive at Losar, the most picturesque village in Spiti Valley at an altitude of 4100m. After Kiato, we take the road along the Spiti River, passing through the beautiful hamlets of Pangmo, Hal, to Rangrik. Continue to Kaza for an overnight stay.
Post-breakfast, visit Hikkim Post Office (Hikkim, a small village in Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, is known for housing the world's highest post office. Besides this universal fact, the serene location of the place makes it a perfect holiday destination for those in search of tranquillity. Due to its high elevation, the village remains snow-capped for a considerable time around the year. Hence, you would want to visit Hikkim when the weather is pleasant. ) & Komik Village OR Langza & Kibber Village. Afternoon, Kaza Local Sightseeing : Key Monastery View Point, Sakya Tangyud Monastery, Local Market. Dinner & overnight stay in Kaza.
Post-breakfast, visit Langza (The most notable attraction of the village is the giant Buddha statue which overlooks the valley. The locals believe that the statue protects the village and its inhabitants from the harsh climate and other perils of the region. The village is also home to a Buddhist monastery, which is located behind the statue and is over 500 years old. ) + Kibber Village (Kibber, also known as Kyibar, is a small village located in the Spiti Valley at an altitude of 4270 metres in Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and barren landscapes, Kibber boasts of being the highest village with a motorable road. The village is particularly famous for the local monastery and Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary.) + Kaza Local Sightseeing : : Key Monastery View Point, Sakya Tangyud Monastery, Local Market. Post-breakfast, check-out from the hotel & transfer to Manali Via Atal Tunnel. Arrival & check-in at the hotel. Evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay in Manali.
The morning we visit Tibetan Monastery- not only a place of worship but also a Tibetan culture centre, the natural springs and sandstone temples at Vashist Village, Hadimba Devi Temple- dedicated to Hidimba, wife of Bhim-one of the 5 Pandava brother of the Hindu epic Mahabharata and the Manu Temple- and old temple dedicated to sage Manu. Club House In the evening we return to the hotel or free time at mall road. Overnight at Manali
After breakfast we checkout from hotel and proceed for Chandigarh by road. On arrival you will be transferred to the airport/railway station to board the flight/Train back to home.
