Gangtok and Darjeeling both are very famous destinations to visit all over India. Darjeeling and Gangtok are filled with dense forests, pleasing climates, and majestic locations, one can easily get lost in the serene beauty of northeastern India. The Tour of Gangtok and Darjeeling has stunning mountains, a valley of flowers, exotic flora and fauna, as well as shopping, nightlife and monasteries, amazing cuisines, magnificent peaks, splendid backdrops, and vast tea plantations in its store for its visitors. Darjeeling has a beautiful sunrise from the highest point in Darjeeling, Tiger Hill. Tour of Gangtok and Darjeeling has included visiting Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refuge Centre and the famed Tea Garden, alpine landscapes; thick luxuriant forests; Torrent Rivers and peaceful lakes. It is a prominent hub for Buddhist culture and religion and a hotspot for shoppers, lovers, diners, and fashionistas. There are handfuls of sightseeing places, each special in its own way. The tour included neighboring destinations like Tsomgo Lake, which is situated close to Nathu La, the entry point to China.
Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 02 Hrs. from Gangtok) and further drive to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 01 Hrs. from Tsomgo Lake). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok. Note: •Documents for Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir – 02 Passport Size Photo along with Photo Copy of Photo ID Proof (Passport or Driving License or Voter ID (Pan Card & Adhaar Card is not accepted). For Children below 18 years, Birth Certificate / School Id / College Id are must. Original needs to carry while travelling. •In case of Land slide or any other reason, if Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.
After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 Ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of Permit / Token) and then back to hotel. After breakfast, starting at 8.30 AM, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
After breakfast Checkout from hotel and take, the departure transfers to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport for your onward journey.
