Economically, Jakarta plays several roles. It can be identified first as the national capital and a central place of control for the national economy, then as an administrative centre in its own right, and as a significant industrial hub. In addition, its location as a port makes it an important centre for trade. The Cityscape. While Bali’s natural charms — beaches, waterfalls, mountains and more — are absolutely mesmerizing, Jakarta offers different but equally stunning scenery. The concrete jungle presents an energetic landscape that turns into a breath-taking skyline at night. Jakarta is the country’s economic, cultural and political centre and the most populous city not only in Indonesia but in Southeast Asia as a whole. Yogyakarta is definitely one of the most popular cities to visit in Indonesia. It is located in Central Java and it is well-known for its traditional art and cultural heritages such as the famous Borobudur complex, Prambanan, and more. As the only Indonesian royal city still ruled by a monarchy, Yogyakarta is regarded as an important centre for classical Javanese fine arts and culture such as ballet, batik textiles, drama, literature, music, poetry, silversmithing, visual arts, and wayang puppetry.
Arrive Jakarta and get transferred to your hotel. Check in and day at leisure to relax or explore the city on the own.
After breakfast visit to National Monument include passing in front of Presidential Palace, Istiqlal Mosque and Cathedral Catholic Church. Then proceed to the old part of Sunda Kelapa passing “Kota” the part of the old city as well as China Town. Continued to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (Indonesia in Miniature) to observe the 160 Ha beautiful Indonesia part completed with orchid, Bird park, 27 Traditional Houses (now we have 33 provinces but still only 27 traditional houses available), where handicrafts are exhibited. Later return to hotel.
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for onward flight to Yogyakarta. Arrive and proceed to visit Prambanan Temple known as the most elegance Hindu shrines, also visit to Sewu and Plaosan Buddhist Temples. Later check in to hotel and relax in evening.
Post breakfast proceed to visit Merapi Volcano for Lava Tour by 4x4 Jeep to visit Museum Sisa Hartaku, The Mysterious Alien Stone, and Bunker of Kaliadem. Afterwards visit Borobudur Temple, the biggest Buddhist Temple in the world, Shopping at Malioboro street/ Bringharjo market. Later return to hotel.
After breakfast at hotel proceed to Gunung kidul regency for visit Heha Ocean view. This is a new viral destination with beautiful ocean view. In the afternoon visit Pengger pine forest - Open-air attraction in a forest setting with unique photo backdrops sculpted from natural materials. Also visit Gumuk Pasir (Sandune)- Scenic & unusual sand dune area, a popular destination for photography & sandboarding.
Post breakfast proceed for full day Yogyakarta city tour covering Sultan Palace, bird market and water castle, batik processing and silversmith at Kotagede. Then visit to Kasongan Village for “Grabah” ceramic.
After breakfast checkout and get transferred to airport for onward or return journey.
