Kenya is a country located in East Africa, known for its diverse landscapes ranging from the savannahs of the Maasai Mara to the stunning beaches of the Indian Ocean. It is also home to some of the world’s most iconic wildlife, including elephants, lions, and giraffes, making it a popular destination for safaris. Kenya has a rich culture and history, with over 40 different ethnic groups and a vibrant arts scene. The most revered of Africa’s safari destinations, Kenya is located in East Africa and boasts the Masai Mara National Park, renowned for its abundant wildlife and annual Great Migration. It is a country brimming with romance, thrill and adventure – nothing says “classic safari” quite like a Kenyan safari.
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Join your tour guide and head South to the home of the tallest mountain in Africa, which also hosts the most Elephants in and out of East Africa, Amboseli National park. You will be expected to arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and check-in. After lunch, you will have the early afternoon on leisure before joining your tour guide for the Afternoon game drive. The park takes its name from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”. Wildlife abounds with elephants being the dominant species. The park also offers the best views for photography and also gives an opportunity to focus on extra activities like tree planting and Maasai Village visits. This day will be spent in the park with a full day game drive and any other optional activity as suggested by your tour guide.
Early breakfast at the lodge and check out. Drive to Lake Naivasha. You will be expected to arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Later after lunch, join your guide who will accompany you for a boat ride at the Lake and an excursion to Crescent Island returning to your lodge before nightfall.
Breakfast at the lodge and check out. Drive East to the famous Maasai Mara arriving at your lodge in time for lunch and afternoon game drives.
Spend the day in Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The Mara is home to the big five and other games. You will be guaranteed to come up close with the hippopotamus, cheetahs, impala, Topi, hartebeest, giraffes, wildebeest, and much unique wildlife which can and will only be found in Africa.
Breakfast at the Camp and check out. Exit the park with a game drive en route as you drive back to Nairobi and drop off at the airport for your departure flight.
