GENEVA – VEVEY: 90km – Approx. 1 hour 30 min drive by coach, depending on traffic conditions Proceed to the orientation tour of Geneva with stop for pictures at the Headquarters of Europe’s United Nations, the Red Cross building, the Broken Chair and Jet d’eau. After the city tour, continue our journey towards Vevey. Later depart for Corsier-sur-Vevey to visit the house of the one and only Charlie Chaplin. Overnight accommodation in Vevey / Montreux.
VEVEY – TASCH: 148km each way – Approx. 2 hours 30 min each way drive by coach, depending on traffic conditions Today depart for Tasch station and take the train to Zermatt for Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn – having highest gondola in the Alps, rising to a 3,883 metres. It is a summit with 360° views of other peaks & glaciers. Zermatt, in southern Switzerland’s Valais canton, is a mountain resort renowned for skiing, climbing and hiking. The town, atan elevation of around 1,600m, lies below the iconic, pyramid-shaped Matterhorn peak. Later depart for Gornergrat and return to Zermatt to take the train back to Tasch. VEVEY - BERN: 88km – Approx. 1 hour 30 min drive by coach, depending on traffic conditions BERN – INTERLAKEN: 57km – Approx. 1 hour drive by coach, depending on traffic conditions Today depart for Bern, the capital city of Switzerland. On arrival, enjoy an orientation tour of the city, with its terraces dating back to the 12th century and medieval architecture, breathtaking view of Aare river and not to miss the bear pits. The city of Bern has had a close relationship with the bear since its foundation. According to legend, the city owes its name to the animal. The bear now appears on flags, fountains, and buildings and can even be visited in the public Bear Park. INTERLAKEN – TRUMMELBACH / JUNGFRAU: 16km – Approx. 30 min drive by coach, depending on traffic conditions JUNGFRAU – ENGELBERG: 100km – Approx. 2 hours drive by coach, depending on traffic conditions Today start the day with a visit the famous Trummelbach glacier falls. The Trümmelbach Falls in Switzerland are a series of ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside the mountain made accessible by a tunnel-funicular, built 1913, stairs, and illumination. Later, head to Lauterbrunnen to board a cogwheel train and admire the view of the pictureperfect peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau along the way and then disembark at Europe’s highest railway station which is at an elevation of 3,454 metres (11,332 ft). Upon arrival, see the breathtaking view of snow clapped mountains, Ice sculptures, Ice Palace and Sphinx Terrace. Upon descend, depart for Engelberg – a scenic town situated in the heart of Switzerland. Overnight accommodation in Engelberg or similar.
ENGELBERG - LUCERNE: 36km each way - Approx. 45 min drive by coach each way depending on traffic conditions Today visit Mount Titlis with the Ice Flyer. Get a chance to admire the view of the majestic mountains and play in the snow. Walk on the Titlis Cliff Walk, a pedestrian bridge along the cliff of Mount Titlis in the Swiss Alps. Built at around 10,000 feet above sea level, it is believed to be the highest elevation suspension bridge in Europe. Later depart for Lucerne where after a short orientation tour including a stop at the famous Lion Monument. Enjoy some free time to spend for browsing the shops and shop for souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy dinner cruise ride on Lake Lucerne. Overnight accommodation in Engelberg or similar.
