The capital of Rajasthan is Jaipur, also known as the “Pink City.” Other major cities include Jodhpur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Kota, and Jaisalmer. Rajasthan has a rich history that dates back to ancient times. It was home to the Indus Valley Civilization and has witnessed the rise and fall of various dynasties and kingdoms, including the Rajputs, Mughals, and Marathas. Many forts, palaces, and historical sites across the state bear testimony to its glorious past. Rajasthan’s culture is a blend of traditions, art, music, and dance. The state is known for its colorful festivals, such as Diwali, Holi, and Pushkar Camel Fair. Folk music and dance forms like Ghoomar, Kalbeliya, and Kathputli are an integral part of Rajasthan’s cultural heritage. The vibrant attire of the locals, including turbans for men and colorful ghagra-cholis for women, adds to the cultural charm.

Post-breakfast, visit Osian, a 2 hrs drive from Jodhpur. Surrounded by golden sand dunes and hamlets, Osian, located 65 km north of Jodhpur, is famous for its Hindu and Jain temples and is known as the Khajuraho of Rajasthan due to the erotic sculptures on the temples. A prominent trading center on the Silk Route from the 8th to the 12th century AD, Osian was also a major pilgrimage site during the Gurjara Pratihara dynasty, who ruled much of northern India from the 6th to the 11th century and was known as Upakesapura.A famous pilgrimage site of the Oswal Jain community, most of the shrines and temples in Osian lie in ruins today. Among the most famous tourist attractions of the village are the 16 temples that include Sachiya Mata temple, Sun temple, Mahaveera Jain temple, etc dating back to the 8th to the 11th century. With their intricate carvings, the Sun Temple, Sachiya Mata Temple and the Jain temple dedicated to Lord Mahavir stand out in their grace and architecture. Apart from the temples, Osian is also popular for camel safaris. Later, return to Jodhpur & visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum & Zoo & indulge in shopping at the Spice Market in Jodhpur. Post-breakfast, check-out from the Hotel and transfer to Bikaner, surrounded by the Thar Desert. The city is known for the 16th-century Junagarh Fort, a huge complex of ornate buildings and halls. Within the fort, the Prachina Museum displays traditional textiles and royal portraits. Nearby, the Karni Mata Temple is home to many rats considered sacred by Hindu devotees. Post-breakfast, check-out from the hotel & transfer to the desert city of Jaisalmer. Enroute visit the Camel-Breeding Farm in Bikaner. Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading center and princely state known as the "Golden City," it's distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. Dominating the skyline is Jaisalmer Fort, a sprawling hilltop citadel buttressed by 99 bastions. Behind its massive walls stand the ornate Maharaja's Palace and intricately carved Jain temples.
