Featuring some of Planet Earth’s grandest features, the South American is home to the Andes Mountains, the Amazon rainforest, and the remarkable Patagonia region. With nature as the star, the continent is sure to make you ooh and ahh. Santiago is the capital of Chile and the largest city in the country, considered a financial center and an important tourist destination, it is also the gateway to reach further places such as the Atacama Desert, Andean Lakes and the Chilean Patagonia.
Arrival in Santiago de Chile. Get a first glance of the city during a tour visiting the main sights and San Cristóbal Hill for a fantastic view over Santiago.
Today you will visit a winery in the Casablanca Valley and taste a selection of great wines, then you continue to Viña del Mar and Valparaíso on the Pacific Coast.
Full day transfer in public bus (on shared basis) from Santiago crossing the Andes to Mendoza in Argentina.
Today you will visit two different vineyards in the Maipu or Lujan de Cuyo area to understand the complete wine making process including a delicious wine tasting.
Day at leisure. On optional base you may attend the following excursions: city tour in Mendoza, Wine tour in the Uco Valley, a visit to the “Altos Limpios “ and the Huarpes native community or a high mountains tour with a short trekking to the “Quebrada del Durazno“.
Flight to Buenos Aires. Remaining day at leisure. On optional basis an Argentina culinary experience can be booked to learn the best of Argentine cuisine and culture together with other international guests.
Half day city tour in Buenos Aires including a cup of coffee & snacks at a traditional coffee house. In the evening you will experience an authentic tango show with dinner at tango house Viejo Almacén (on shared basis).
Day at leisure. On an optional tour you may discover the Tigre and Delta of the Parana River, the countryside visiting estancia Santa Susana or the San Telmo Antique Fair (on shared basis).
Flight to Iguassú. Visit the Argentinean Side of the Iguassú National Park, including the Devil’s Throat with the highest continuous fall.
Visit to the Brazilian side of the falls with views of the full scale of the cascades.
Flight to Rio de Janeiro.
Full day city tour including visit of the Sugar Loaf and the Corcovado. On optional basis you may visit a typical Samba Show featuring skilled dancers, samba bands and colourful costumes.
End of the roundtrip and departure flight.
