From spiritual experiences at monasteries and scenic drives to sunrise at Tiger Hill and relaxed walks through tea estates, the Sikkim–Gangtok–Darjeeling journey promises a perfect mix of nature, culture, and relaxation.
Meet and Greet on arrival at Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival, check in to the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 02 Hrs. from Gangtok) and further drive to New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 01 Hrs. from Tsomgo Lake). Evening back in Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok. Note: In case of a landslide or any other reason, Tsomgo Lake is closed, we will provide alternate sightseeing. Due to the winter season (heavy snow), vehicles will be able to drive up to Snow Point on the way to Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir.
After breakfast Check out from Hotel & enjoy a half day city tour visiting Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (Closed on Sunday and 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Dro-dul Chorten & Gonjang Monastery. Afternoon procced to Darjeeling.On arrival, check-in to your hotel and rest of the day free. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of token, if not possible at the time of Sunrise, then it will be covered in daytime) and then back to the hotel. After breakfast, starting at 8.30 AM, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway (Note: Closed on 19th of Every Month), Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple(Peace Pagoda). Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling. Note: Darjeeling ropeway will be on a direct payment basis. It has limited cabins (Approx 8, and per cabin, 4 persons can be accommodated), resulting in long queues due to high tourist volume. Be patient with potential delays. It could also impact your schedule for other sightseeing activities due to time constraints.
After breakfast Checkout from the hotel and take the departure transfers to Bagdogra International Airport for your onward journey.
