Take a tour to the holiest cities of India, Varanasi and Sarnath. Varanasi is so pure that even a dip in the Ganga River meandering across it, is believed to wash away all the sins. The city is known to be the land of moksh (freedom from life cycle). While, Sarnath is a significant pilgrim spot for the Budhhists, as it has marks of the legend, King Ashoka. You will explore these two cities and get a step closer to tranquility and soul consciousness. You can get a detailed view of the journey below.
Up on your arrival in New Delhi, our IHPL Representative will greet you and assist you check in at Hotel and after refreshment you will proceed to explore the city. The capital city of India, Delhi is a concoction of varied cultures, an amalgam of old-world and new-age charm. The place is dotted with several architectural wonders. Some of the most popular attractions of Delhi that you visit today are Parliament House, India Gate, Swaminarayan Akshardham temple- dedicated to Bhagwan Swaminarayan, the temple is a wonderful piece of traditional style of architecture, and Laxmi Narayan temple- also known as Birla Temple, built-in 1938, this temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his consort, Goddess Parvati. You will also explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of QutabMinar Complex, Humayun's Tomb, and Red Fort (closed on Monday). You will also visit Lotus Temple, which is a Baha'i Temple situated on the hilltop. Stay overnight in Delhi.
You are transferred to Delhi airport after breakfast and catch a flight to Varanasi. Upon reaching Varanasi you check in to your hotel room. In the evening, you leave to explore Varanasi and attend the majestic arti on the banks of Ganges. You further get back to the room and stay overnight.
The day is started on the banks of Ganga, savoring a magnificent view of the sunrise. You get back to the hotel for breakfast and then embark on the sightseeing tour of the city which includes Bharat Mata temple, Alamgir Mosque or Beni Madhav Ka Darera. After this, you will lead towards Sarnath. It is a city where legendary emperor Ashoka spent good times of his life and built Dharmarajika Stupa and erected his symbolic pillars. By late evening, you get back to your room and stay overnight.
Refreshing breakfast is followed by transfer to Delhi Airport to continue your own journey. Hence this soulful journey ends.
