Highlights

The hill station is a year round destination with many visiting the place in winters from December-February to experience magical snowfalls and in summer from April to June for its cool climes. Spring in March and the fall months of September to November have a charm of their own.
Chitkul is famous for its fair called Phulaich Fair which is attended by many Hindu devotees and attending it is actually one of the best things to do in Chitkul. You can reach this temple easily by car or bus. There are other temples like Badrinarayan ji and Vishnu Narayan ji in Sangla that are famous among travelers.
Sangla is famous for its wood carving work and other handicrafts such as handmade shawls and caps. Look out for Kinnaur apples which are one of the best in the world.
Kaza is known for its colorful festivals and the Sakya Tangyud Monastery. Rudyard Kipling described the Lahaul and Spiti region as 'a world within a world'. And situated about 11,980 feet above sea level, it really is just that.
