This 4 nights 5 days Ujjain Omkareshwar Maheshwar and Mandu Tour starts from the city of Indore. Indore is one of the most famous and largest cities of Madhya Pradesh and is one of the education/knowledge centres of the state. Indore is famous for Palaces, parks, temples and lip-smacking food.

Ujjain is located on the banks of the Shipra River. It is one of Hinduism’s seven sacred cities. Kalidas described it as ‘The town fallen from Heaven to bring Heaven to Earth. Ujjain is famous for its cultural heritage especially in the form of Temples.

You will witness here a large number of pilgrimage sites such as Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, Shri Kaal Bhairav Temple, Shri Chintaman Ganesh Temple, Jnayer Mantar and Ram ghat.

Omkareshwar is a famous temple which is dedicated to Hindu deity, Lord Shiva which is situated on an island shaped like the symbol of ‘Om’. Omkareshwar is rich in its heritage and finest Handloom. You will visit Narmada Ghat, Maheshwar Fort, Ahilya Bai Fort and Palace, Maheshwar Museum, Shri Raj Rajeshwar Temple, Akhileshwar Temple and don’t forget to visit handloom weaving which produces a large number of  Maheshwari sarees and fabric.

Mandu is a former ancient city which is located in the Malwa region of western Madhya Pradesh. It is famous for its fortress-like architecture which draws many visitors throughout the year.

Out of the major places to visit in Omkareshwar, the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga shrine tops the list. Popularly known as 'Omkar Mandhata', it is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines in India. Pilgrims in unimaginable numbers visit the shrine every year, seeking the blessings of Lord Shiva. Located in the western region of Madhya Pradesh, Ujjain is famous for numerous pilgrimage sites from different eras. The temple town of Madhya Pradesh is also home to the world's largest religious gathering, Simhastha (Kumbha Mela), which is held on the banks of the Shipra river once every 12 years. Mandavgarh or Mandav or Mandu is famous for its amazing Fort. The fort is 82 km in perimeter and is considered to be the biggest in India. It contain the ruins of palaces, ornamental canals, bath pavilions etc. The fort was once Monsoon retreat of Mughal emperors.


Day 1: Ujjain

Arrive Ujjain Railway station or Indore Railway Station / Airport. Get transferred to Holy city of Ujjain, situated at the banks of river Shipra. Check in to hotel and later visit one of the twelve Jyotirlingas - Mahakaleshwar Temple - the most famous and venerated Shiva Temple. Bade Ganeshji ka Mandir, Sandeep Mahamuni Ashram (where Lord Krishna was educated with Balarama and Sudhama from Maharshi Sandipani), Bharthruhari Caves, Harsiddhi Temple, Mangladas Mandir and Mahakaleshwari Shaktipeeth. Overnight in Ujjain.

Day 2: Ujjain – Omkareshwar – Maheshwar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to another famous city of Omkareshwar famous for Shiva Temple, situated on the banks of river Narmada. On arrival, visit Omkar Mandhata Temple and Siddhanath Temple in Omkareshwar. Later drive to Maheshwar. Another famous town on the bank of River Narmada, famous for its very beautiful and gorgeous Ghats and Maheshwari sarees. Visit Rajarajeshwara Temple which is famous, renowned and magnificient shrine with 11 Akhanda Jyothi Deepas - the eternal flame lamps glows continuously. Overnight in Maheshwar.

Day 3: Maheshwar – Mandu

After breakfast proceed for another historically famous fort city of Central India- Mandu. It's surrounded by stone walls dotted with darwazas (gateways). It's also known for its Afghan architectural heritage. Visit Jahaj Mahal, Bajbahadur Palace and Rani roopmati pavilion. Overnight in Mandu.

Day 4: Mandu – Indore

Proceed for last part of your trip to Indore. It’s known for the 7-story Rajwada Palace and the Lal Baag Palace, which date back to Indore’s 19th-century Holkar dynasty. The Holkar rulers are honored by a cluster of tombs and cenotaphs at Chhatri Baag. The night market Sarafa Bazar sells street food. East is the Indo-Gothic Gandhi Hall and clock tower. The Jain temple Kanch Mandir has a mirrored mosaic interior. Later evening at leisure to explore the city and enjoy the food in the city of food lovers. Overnight in Indore.

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast get transferred to station or airport for onward or return journey.
