Katra is a picaresque region in Jammu and Kashmir and it is known for its famed temple of Goddess Vaishno Devi. The temple is highly revered and every year hundreds of tourists travel to this shrine to pay their respects to the Goddess. Patnitop is a small city in Jammu and Kashmir and is a well-known hill station in the state. It is a beautiful city and is very famous for its street shopping. Its dry fruits, Kashmiri handicrafts, and Pashmina shawls are popular. The sweets here have a unique taste and should not be missed.


Day 1: Arrival Jammu – Katra (55 Km / Approx 02 Hours Drive)

Arriva Jammu airport and get transferred to Katra. Check in to Hotel and later day at leisure to explore the city of Katra on the own. Overnight at Katra.

Day 2: Katra – Vaishnodevi Darshan

After breakfast proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan - one of the most popular pilgrimage of India, situated in the lap of Trikuta mountains across Katra town, at an altitude of around 5,200 feet. Yatra involves a trek of nearly 14 kilometers from base camp at Katra known as Ban Ganga. Alternate way to perform darshans is by battery operated cars, ponies/palkis/ helicopters. If time permits, visit Ardhkuwari & Bhairo Temple, now you can go by ropeway from Vaishno Devi Bhavan to Bhairon temple. After visiting the temples, return back to the hotel in Katra . Overnight in Katra.

Day 3: Katra – Patnitop (60 kms / approx 2 ½ hours/ one way)

After breakfast check out from Katra and drive to Patnitop, the only hill station of Jammu district. On arrival, check into your hotel. Patnitop is a distortion of the original name of “Patan Da Talab” meaning “Pond of the Princess”. In olden times a pond existed in the meadows and the king’s princess often used to have her bath there. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the nearby areas on foot or pony back (on direct payment). Overnight in Patnitop.

Day 4: Patnitop – Jammu (Apprx 108 Kms / 2 ½ Hours )

Post breakfast checkout and get transferred to Jammu station or airport for return or onward journey.
